Shipping Information

Shipping Policy:

Water Concepts ships all orders using UPS or Canada Post dependant on what the customer requests.  Every product we ship is packed according to shipping standards and insured for the value of the product.  Since we ship according to standards, all shipping claims will be brought directly to the shipping company. See Shipping Damages for more information.  

Shipping Charges: 

Our flat rate shipping charges are a minimum estimate. Additional shipping charges will be added should the order be very large in weight or size with prior notification and acceptance by the customer.

Sales Tax:
All Canadian orders are subject to the provincial sales tax of the province the order is shipped to, or as in the case of Ontario 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) which will be automatically calculated into your grand total.  

We strive to ship our products within 1-2 business days.  If an order is placed early in a business day it usually ships out same day.  If a partial order is shipped separately or backordered you will be emailed with additional tracking numbers or notified of the backorder date and when the item is expected to ship.

Orders will not be processed on weekends or holidays. As soon as your order is shipped you will be sent an email containing the tracking number.  You can also track your shipping in “Track Your Order” on our website.  This will allow you to track your product quickly and easily over the internet or by phone.

Returns:

Water Concepts will accept returns for exchange or credit due to discrepancy in shipment only if reported within 5 days of receipt and returned in original packaging in like new condition.  Credit returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  Any shortages must also be reported within 5 days of receipt.  Product must also pass our inspection upon return for any damage.  Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.  Defective products can be returned and credit issued only once product is received and inspected and found to be defective.

What to do:

1.    Contact Water Concepts to obtain a Returns Goods Authorization (RGA) Number.
2.    Properly repackage product and ensure RGA number is clearly marked on outside of package.

Shipping damages:

All products are inspected before being shipped, but damages may occur during shipping.  If product is received damaged, it must be reported to the shipping company – usually UPS – within 24 hours.  All boxes and packing material must be saved.  It is possible that the shipping company may want to inspect these materials.  Please notify us of the damage after you have reported the claim to the shipping company.  Upon receipt of the credit from the carrier, the product will be re-shipped.  Of course if the incorrect product is shipped, or the product is defective, we will correct it.
