ORP or Oxidizing Reducing Potential is measured on a digital meter in mv (millivolts). Chlorine is the most common substance measured when it comes to ORP, due to it's oxidizing nature. The ORP value is related to the ppm (parts per million) reading of a sample e.g. the higher the ORP value, the higher the ppm reading. ORP measuring can be done by a simple handheld.ORP Meter, a lab style bench meter, or an in-line monitor or controller.
